When should I register my trademark?
Timing is everything, and this is especially true when it comes to trademark registration. Choosing to trademark your brand at the right time is much more important than you would think.
Yes. Generally, once the trademark application is submitted, you will receive an electronic, official confirmation from the respective IP office.
This confirmation will include your application (serial) number that you can use, for example, to become an Amazon Brand Registry member. To access the Amazon benefits, it is sufficient to fill out a form and provide your trademark serial number, which will serve as proof of filing.
It usually takes a couple of days until the number is working and activated, as the application needs to be processed and entered into the trademark database. Once this is done, you can track the progress of your application using the serial number.
