Youtube set to protect trademarks of influencers shaping the society
Support services provided by YouTube now extend to automatic protection of a registered trademark for all videos and channels.
The "Notice of Allowance" itself is not issued at a cost. However, when the applicant receives the NoA, they must file a "Statement of use" and pay $150 per every class included in the application.
If the applicant uses an attorney or a law firm to file the "Statement of Use" on their behalf, they will be charged for this procedure. The cost depends on the service provider the applicant chooses.
The "Statement of Use" must also include a specimen per each class of goods and services. The specimen serves as proof that given goods and services are currently sold in the US market.
