How much does one trademark class in Japan cost?

The cost of trademark application in Japan is $108 per class.

If you prefer to pay the registration fee in installments, it amounts to $132 per class of goods or services.

Please note that the Japan Patent Office (JPO) does not accept direct payments from individuals or entities residing outside Japan. Instead, the payment must be made through an appointed representative who is either residing or domiciled in Japan, such as a trademark attorney. Payment options such as bank transfers, credit cards, or checks are not accepted by the JPO for applicants residing outside Japan.
